Hiroshima Day 4 / Osaka Day 1 ~ Memorial Peace Museum / meeting Tomomi-chan

Today is our last day in Hiroshima. Because Kiki can't walk properly because of our walking marathon yesterday, she relaxed at the hotel while I went to the Memorial Peace Museum of Hiroshima. It was just down the street from our hotel, so it just took me around 10 minutes by foot.

The building doesn't look very special but I think it's more practical build. The fountain at the front is really beautiful. Behind the museum the Memorial Park starts. It's a nice green park ending up at the Genabku Dome (Atomic Bomb Dome) where I have already been last time in April.

So I entered the museum and was surprised about the entrance fee: just 50 Yen! That's not even 5 Cent O.o
So I think the city doesn't want to make any win out of this museum because it is a symbol of peace to anybody. Unfortunately the right building was under construction at this time so it wasn't open to the public.

But nevertheless it was really interesting and really touching! All the pictures and replicas with their pieces of information were quite shocking, I almost cried seeing all this. But when you see Hiroshima today, the city really stood up again and live on to show the importance of peace to the world.

Afterwards I was glad that we just aimed for Hiroshima Station to get our Shinkansen to Osaka because I wasn't in the mood for sightseeing or Shopping right now.
At the streetcar station Kiki considered that she had forgotten her suica (case) at the hotel... oh dear >.< So I jogged back and fortunately the cleaning woman had found it.So I got it and jogged back to the station.
So the last time to ride the streetcar in Hiroshima.

But because of my jogging session for Kiki we reached our shinkansen on the last minute X.x
But then everything was fine and we reached Osaka in time to check-in our hotel (from last time - the Hearton Hotel Minamisenba in Shinsaibashi^^) and meet my Japanese friend Tomomi in front of the OPA building. I was so happy to see her again^.^

Because Kiki and I were very hungry as a consequence of having no lunch so far, we entered the restaurant floor of the OPA to get something to eat. Tomomi chose a nice restaurant & café for us. Kiki and I decided for the daily meal: Karaage in chili sauce with rice, salad and miso soup - very delicious ^.^

lunch & my cute café moccha^.^
Of course we talked a lot and told Tomomi about the Golden Bomber concerts because she was so nice and had bought the tickets for us - thank you so much!!!
Finally we leave to take a walk on the Shinsaibashi-suji. We had to enter a drug store because Kiki needed some patches and gel insoles for her feet and I wanted to buy something against my mosquito bite >.<
With the help of Tomomi we got what we needed and continued our walk. Of course we made a stop at the Ebisu-suji bridge and looked forward to see the Glico Man again, but now it is a 'Glico Girl' O.o How sad >.< Nevertheless we took the epic tourist photo.

Finally we had a break at a coffee down in the Namba Walk. I tried a Sesame Tofu Latte O.o It looked awful (because of the black sesame) but tasted quite good. She also told us about her holidays in Australia and that we need to come back to Japan again. She will also buy us our next concert tickets XD

So in the evening we said goodbye to Tomomi T^T
But we had a great day and were happy to get a bit more sleep tonight because tomorrow we just want to go shopping^o^

Hiroshima Day 2 ~ ゴールデン ボンバー のコンサート #2

Today we slept out again and got ourselves ready after breakfast. By the way today I successfully got a pancake^o^ I chose a Mango Pancake and a Matcha Latte, that was so great X3

breakfast^.^
The outfits for today were the tour shirts and towls we bought yesterdays together with hotpants and comfortable shoes; Kiki also did a great job with her hairstyle again. This time we decided to make some Purikura before the concert. No surprise that me met many fans there, too. In the elevator we were kind of celebrated XD They asked us for our favourite member and of course the one who wore a Kenji version was so happy about my opinion XD But she also did pretty well^.^ (we also met her in front of the hall later again)

So we arrived at the arena around 15:30 h. The atmosphere was as great as yesterday. This time we also decided to make some pictures of some masqueraded fans. Many of them did a great job and we saw almost every popular version: ii hito, Dance my Generation, Yowasete Mojito, Police Men, Princess Junko, Prince Yutaka with Kenji-Wolf and Teddybear, the lazy versions of Shou and Yutaka, some Kenji versions (especially from his book promotions) and some more. (interestingly there were no Memeshikute versions today O.o)
It was really cool. But I guess I will dream of the Japanse sentence 'shashin o totte mo ii desu ka?' (can I take a picture?) tonight XD

shots of the day
But everybody was so friendly, they liked the photo taking and also invited you to have a picture with them together^^
It was so much fun! So Kiki and I got the idea to wear a Golden Bomber Outfit next time, too. And I must say that I can do the Kenji make-up better then some of the others! *proud* So I don't need to be ashamed if I will really do this.

Today we entered the arena quite late, it was already 16:45 h. But the hall wasn't even filled with as many people as yesterday although we thought that the atmosphere was better and more lively today!

Of course the show was great again!!! *o*
Surprisingly it was a bit different from yesterday. A few songs were exchanged and some gags different. Jun even sreamed 'yesterday they were louder' everytime when heating up the crowd XD

It's really the best to have two concerts in a row! Yesterday we just enjoyed the show but today we could really concentrate on the story, the members and some details. So we totally fell in love with them *o*

They is no point but visiting a concert again... hopefully next year when they are so merciful and have some concerts again!! >.<

After the concert we were almost the last to leave. At the end two girls even gave us two Golden Bomber balloons as a gift (which were falling from the ceiling in the middle during the encore)! That was so nice^.^

Golden Bomber Chibi balloons^.^
Conclusion: Can't wait to see Golden Bomber live again and this Flash will last for a looooong time now XD

Now I'm curious about our day in Fukuoka tomorrow because it is Kenji's birthplace X3

Hiroshima Day 1 ~ ゴールデン ボンバー のコンサート #1

Today's special day!!! Because today is the first Golden Bomber concert here in Hiroshima.
But in the morning we took our time. Kiki wanted to prepare herself with hairstyle, make-up and so on, so I had some time to check the neighbourhood and just relax from our long journey.

But first of all we had breakfast^o^
We have a nice coffee shop on the first floor of our hotel. It's public café but it has an entrance from our hotel lobby. I'd like to taste one of their pancake versions but unfortunately it got sold out just by the man standing before me >.< (why am I always so lucky and why on the first day at breakfast??? 8>.<8)
Nevertheless the strawberry jam toast and the moccha latte were also a good start for the day. While Kiki started preparing herself I went around our block. Next to the hotel we have our Family Mart and a nice main street. In the side streets are many little shops, so the area is quite practical^^

In the afternoon we left for the concert hall. Golden Bomber played at the Green Hall of Hiroshima. We can reach it by foot. We arrived there a bit past 3 pm, already many fans were gathering there. It was a great atmosphere^^v

Many fans wore Golden Bomber outfits, that was cool. But also many many fans just put a Tamiya T-Shirt on. Kiki and I got a great idea what to wear today: a bavarian 'Dirndl' ^o^
Typically German, colourful and just cool. We were quite eyecatchers but we liked it. Forutnately we found people who took photos of us.

The Golden Bomber Dirndl shot^o^

The concert started at 5 pm but inlet was already at 4 pm, so we stood in line at the time.

At the entrance we showed our tickets in our bags were checked. I had to left my camera at the information because photos are not allowed during the concert (interesting that smartphones are permitted... but really no one try to take photos!). It was interesting to see all the peple in the hall. Next to Kiki and next to me even older ladies were sitting and enjoying the concert. But in the meantine it was really annoying for me that they played a CD of Nirvana till the concert starts... why Nirvana?? >.<
Exactly at 5 pm the show started...

I really can't but it into words... the concert was just so great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The guys were all so cool and likeable, Kiki & I got totally flashed XD
They played new and old songs, made jokes and sketches and even prepared a gay drama (Yutaka x Shou) on stage^^;
The intro video was also so funny. The theme was 'Kyan Hage', a story of Kyan Yutaka you got a baldhead in 2014. Then the video showed them 30 years later where Yutaka had finished a time machine. So they went back to 2014 and played the concert just before the fateful moment...
I really couldn't imagine how they will do such a show but it was awesome!!!
It's also amazing that eveybody danced the furis together, it was just fun.

After three hours the concert was over. Kiki and I were so excited that we stayed at the hall a bit longer and watched all the people walk away. Of course we also got ourselves some merchandise ;D
two Tour Towels, one Tour T-Shirt and a Plush-Kenji *_*
Finally we went back home. We strolled back over the shopping street 'Hondori' where we saw many concert visitors again (Tamiya T-Shirts everywhere XD). We also decided to make Purikuras in a Game Centers there. It's great to have Dirndl-Puris *lol*

Hondori
Back at our hotel we were still too happy and too excited to go to bed. And the best thing is that we wil see them again tomorrow!!! *o*

Hiroshima Day 0 ~ Flight to Japan

Quite spontaniously my friend Kiki and I are travelling to Japan - again. This time the main motivation was to visit two concerts of our favourite band 'Golden Bomber' (ゴールデン ボンバー) in Hiroshima. But because it is our second trip this year, we have so save a bit money concerning flight and hotel. So Kiki and I booked a flight with Emirates which had the concequence that we have to make stopover in Dubai. This is quite a diversion but direct flights were at least 300 Euros more expensive. So our trip started on Thursday. We stood up at 9 am and had a relaxed day till we left around noon to the airport of Duesseldorf. We had lunch at a Pizzeria at the airport and even the security control went smoothly. We were both so shocked that non of us bieped when passing the gate. The control man was funny and said: 'The whole journey is loused up, it hasn't bieped." *lol*
Finally our first flight went at 15:25 h via Dubai.

boadring to our aircraft
Emirates is a real good airline I must say! The service is great as well as the entertainement program on bord. The meal was great (lamb roulades with rosmarin potatoes and green beans and a super delicious caramel pudding) and I took the opportunity to watch the movie 'The Monumets Men' which I missed in cinemas.
After a few ours they feigned night in the plane. It was some kind of beautiful because we could see 'stars' at the ceiling^.^

glittering stars in the aircraft
Atfer six hours flight we arrived in Dubai. It was midnight there but outside were still over 30 degrees. The airport is so huge and modern, I was really impressed. We had to take a train to get to our connceting flight. We were even welcomed by a kind of hologram (even Kiki said it was a bit Star Wars like XD)

me & the hologram XD
The airport arcades were really cool. There are many shops and restaurants and even at this time it was still very busy and crowded. We had three hours stay at Dubai so what to do with the time? We strolled around and finally I decided to change some money into the local currency to buy us a coffee at a Starbucks near our Gate.
In our area they even build a kind of oasis, that was really nice^^

view over the gate hall at the airport
Time passed by quite fast and we arrived at our gate when already the Final Call was anounced^^;
But we had even to wait for the next bus to get us to the aircraft, so we missed nothing. Though the bus travel was a bit... eerie. It drove and drove and... drove. Kiki and I were wondering if we were going to Japan by bus now. We really took a tour around the whole airport O.o
But everything went perfect and the second flight could start. By the time Kiki and I got so tired... so we tried to sleep after starting but that was no good idea for me. I got such a headache... I just can't sleep in sitting position >.< That was so bad, so I had to keep me awake for the next 8 hours when I don't want to vomit...
So I had such a hard time. I couldn't even enjoy the food. I kept me awake with watching the 7th season of one of my favourite TV series 'The Big Bang Theory'.
Kiki tried to sleep but could just doze a bit. We were so happy when we finally arrived at Kansai Airport (unfortunately even half an hour later than planned). We were both so tired and exhausted U.U
But the costums check went smoothly and we successfully got our Japan Rail Passes at the JR Airport Station. So unfortunately we haven't arrived at our final destination yet *sigh*
We had to take the shinkansen to Hiroshima. From Kansai Airport we had to take the Haruka express to Shin-Osaka Station and then change to the Hikari Shinkansen via Hakata till Hiroshima. It took us another 3 hours to Hirohima Station.

From Hiroshima Station we took the cute local street car. They look really oldfashioned but are really comfortable and cheap. The driver was really nice and told us how to pay in the car and when we had to get off^.^
My  personal highlight of this journey was that I found our hotel without diversion for the first time^o^ *yatta*
We arrived at the Mitsui Garden Hotel at 11 pm... finally!

We just stopped by the neighbouring Family Mart and were sooo happy to have a bed for sleeping now...
